Synopsis

Mengatasi tantangan media pembelajaran konvensional dan keterbatasan praktik langsung, buku ini menyajikan Augmented Reality (AR) sebagai solusi pedagogis yang inovatif. Implementasi AR didasarkan pada landasan teoretis yang kuat, terutama Konstruktivisme (belajar melalui interaksi aktif) dan Teori Beban Kognitif (mengurangi beban mental dengan menyajikan info kontekstual), yang terbukti efektif meningkatkan motivasi dan pemahaman konsep siswa.

Buku ini memandu pembaca melalui siklus hidup lengkap perancangan dan pengembangan media AR. Proses ini dimulai secara sistematis dari analisis kebutuhan, penetapan tujuan pembelajaran, perancangan storyboard, hingga alur kerja teknis. Pengembangan mencakup penyiapan aset (terutama optimasi model 3D untuk seluler), integrasi menggunakan engine seperti Unity dan SDK (Vuforia/ARCore), serta siklus pengujian fungsional dan usability untuk menjamin kualitas.

Lebih dari sekadar alat, adopsi AR menuntut strategi implementasi yang matang, termasuk pergeseran fundamental peran guru dari instruktur menjadi fasilitator. Efektivitas pembelajaran kemudian divalidasi melalui metode evaluasi formal, seperti analisis perbandingan pre-test/post-test.

Terakhir, buku ini mengkaji secara mendalam aspek kritis etika dan keamanan, mencakup kepatuhan hak cipta aset digital, urgensi perlindungan privasi data siswa (mengingat AR menggunakan kamera), serta kewajiban untuk memastikan keadilan (equity) dan aksesibilitas bagi semua peserta didik, termasuk penyediaan jalur pembelajaran alternatif. Buku ini ditutup dengan visi masa depan, memprediksi bagaimana konvergensi AR+AI akan menciptakan sistem pembelajaran adaptif yang personal dan bagaimana AR akan menjadi gerbang utama menuju ruang belajar kolaboratif di dalam Metaverse.
